Asian Law and Economics Association Annual Conference 2022
Topic: Institutions, Laws, and Economic Development
Date: October 21-22, 2022

The Korean Law and Economics Association will host the 18th Asian Law and Economics Association (AsLEA) Annual Meeting. The meeting will be held face-to-face format on October 21-22, 2022, at the Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. We may broadcast the conference with Zoom, but speakers should present their works at the conference venue for a lively discussion.
The main theme of the conference is “Institutions, Laws, and Economic Development.” Any research related to an economic analysis of institutions and laws, or how institutions or laws matter for economic growth will be considered for presentation.
We host James Robinson (Harris School of Public Policy, University of Chicago) as the keynote speaker and Daniel Chen (World Bank and Toulouse School of Economics) for the special lecture.
The keynote speech and special lecture, which are described above, will be broadcasted online in addition to several special sessions. You may refer to the 2022 Conference Program for each linkage information.
