The Asian Law and Economics Association (AsLEA) welcomes submissions for its 2025 Annual Conference on August 13-15, 2025. The deadline for submission of abstracts is March 31, 2025 April 15, 2025 (11:59 p.m. HKT). We welcome submissions on any topic related to law and economics.
Submission Guidelines
- Format:
- Language: English only.
- Abstract: 500–800 words.
- Full Paper: For those who wish to be considered for the AsLEA Best Paper Award for Junior Scholars, a FULL PAPER is required upon submission.
- Content: Empirical and/or theoretical approaches are welcome. Submissions should pertain to any topic at the intersection of law and economics.
- How to Submit:
- Please submit your abstracts here.
- To be considered for the AsLEA Best Paper Award for Junior Scholars, a FULL PAPER must be submitted by a separate email to aslea.2025@cityu.edu.hk .
- You may submit up to two submissions for consideration, but each individual can present only once as a primary author at the conference (co-authors may present other accepted papers).
Deadlines:
- Submission deadline:
March 31, 2025April 15, 2025 (11:59 p.m. HKT). - Decisions will be announced by the end of April. Registration will open in early May.
- Registration deadline for paper presenters: June 16, 2025
- Registration deadline for non-presenters: July 31, 2025

Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements as AsLEA and the local organizer are unable to provide stipends or expense reimbursements.
