In addition to the main conference sessions on August 14-15, there will be a Methodology Workshop and an Editors’ Workshop held in the afternoon of August 13, 2025.
Methodology Workshop (2 pm to 3:30 pm)
In the workshop, Professor Jennifer Arlen, Norma Z. Paige Professor of Law, New York University School of Law, will present the fundamentals of experimental economics methods and discuss the role of experiments in the study of law. The workshop will discuss the criteria for good experimental work and will also introduce recent advances in experimental studies relevant to experimental law and economics. The material is intended for both professors and students seeking an introduction to experimental law and economics either for their own work or to use in evaluating the work of others, as well as for researchers currently conducting experiments interested in learning about recent advances. No prior training in experimental economics is required or assumed.

Editors’ Workshop (4 pm to 5:30 pm)
In this workshop, editors will share their views on journal submissions and provide advice on publication strategies. Confirmed editors include:
